This is actually a shot in the arm for people who are consistently trying
to call the bluff of hypocrites like Karmali and others who pride in
calling themselves Goa's Freedom fighters only to keep on collecting
their pensions to the detriment of us, the tax-payers.
I don't want to go over it again, but Jose Francisco Martins of Salvador
Do Mundo has burnt the history books proudly preserved by these fake
freedom fighters just before he died. (And mind you, I was there to put a
handful of mud over his coffin) And I am the sole witness to that scene
when with tears rolling down his cheeks, he told me that he would do
everything in his power, if he could, to reverse the freedom fight and
bring the Portuguese back to Goa. He admited that working against the
Portuguese was a cardinal sin that he has committed.
His patriotism is not lessened by these sentiments but goes a long way to
say how frustrated he was with the 'trash' that replaced the Portuguese.
I too have been anti Portuguese since I was a kid, in that I have always
been patriotic towards my nation. And that nation of mine has always been
not India but GOA.
And I shall defend my nation with my blood, if required, and not let it
be degraded by the likes of the hypocrites calling themselves the 'Goa's
freedom fighters' along with their accomplishes like L K Advani and the
whole lot.
Once again, thanks a lot to you two from the bottom of my heart for the
resounding recognition of the true sons of GOA.
