'The safety of women or poor children is only an "illusion", in Goa.'

It is so true how Vanita Coelho has written and described. In a huge country
like India, one of the largest population, we should actually have more safety
and togetherness, but it is the other way around.

In this huge country there are highly educated people who only think about their own pockets and are egoist to fight for abolishing the old, stale stigmas. The educated people are mostly rich, so their families are safe, they don't care. Women, when educated can stand on their own feet and can also find spouses for themselves. In some countries, education is mandatory, even for the poor. I'm truly at a loss of words like most goaneters, at the hideous crimes that are taking place in Goa. When the police don't react, people try to take the law in their hands and become criminals. Where is something like this going to end? Things can only get worse.
Warm wishes,
Isabella.
