By and large I agree with Arwin Mesquita.
The River Princess has been there nine years (promises, money, time, effort
spent uselessly); off shore vessels cleaning tanks/pumping oil, shacks and
casinos/cockeyed tourism policies adding to the danger. We are killing our
rivers and polluting everything. Garbage cannot be controlled, drains and road
sides get flooded with a little rain. Land is being converted into concrete
jungles. Expanded Dabolim airport is not enough. We want another at Mopa, and
everyone licking their chops for the added construction, money to be made, jobs
to be created. To quote Bernard Shaw “There’s one sucker born every minute”.
Poor suckers being frightened with Maharashtra waiting to take advantage. All
airlines are in dire straits and  government does not want to see that
“Business As Usual” is not sustainable. That iron ore mines will have to close
down, future air transport will not need huge airports! For once I agree with
Churchill's recent pronouncements
on this subject, for which he is being castigated by the government!
