And Then ...they WILL bury those with firangi (Portuguez) surnames e.g. Borges, Faleiro and Colaco. I do not know about you but I will Forcibly-Sankritize my surname to Khalshe (or as Korso in Konkani). If the Chinese take over Goa, I will probably adopt the surname: Chop Suey (ideal for a medic with some legal background - He would be able to cut and sue at the same time). I wonder what you guys think of S-names for yourselves e.g. Bhurji and Falwalle respectively. A well-known advocate friend from Margao would characteristically ask: you wore a 'kashti' (loincloth) until 1510? So the next time we see you wearing pants/trousers, would you want us to set them on fire? Baba Valmiki, Naka re baba i.e. Perish the thought of forcing Borges to walk around in a kashti.
