I still don't get it, how could Goa have freedom fighters. When I look at history books and the Indian propaganda it was the Indian Union army, navy, and the air force who ousted the Portuguese out of Goa. An Indian army of 30,000 personnel fully equipped with modern warfare weapons who fought and conquered a Portuguese army of 3,000 personnel who comprised of civilian police men, who I am led to believe were poorly equipped with ancient armaments. So where were these Goa,s freedom fighters when the war for liberation started, were they hiding behind their wife,s or girlfriend,s saris.
