Lazarus was sick. Jesus knew about it being God yet he did not visit them. God wanted the world to know that God could do lots of wonders through Jesus. That he had power not only to heal someone but raise some from the dead. Jesus wanted us to know that he was God himself. The two sisters of Lazarus were mourning for the dead brother. God made a revealation through Mary when she spoke about the resurection on the last day. How did Mary know this ? She could say this because the Holy Spirit revealed it to her. Jesus also made a revelation when he said " I am the resurection and the life who ever believes in me will be saved. Here Jesus is trying to give us his hand to hold. In the resurection of Jesus Mary Magdalen and some of the disciples went to the tomb and found it empty. Our lives too are empty without Jes us. They found everything except Jesus. They found the cloth (wealth) which was used to wrap Jesus. They found other things used to bury Jesus but did not find Jesus. " Why do you search me among the dead ? Do you believe that Jesus has resurected and living with us ? if yes be born again with Christ. If you are waiting for Jesus to come from Heaven then you have to work very hard lest you may be like the foolish queens who went to get oil when the bridgroom enters. Live with Jesus. Foolish are the people who try to critise those who are with Christ. Foolish are those who throw stones at those who come nearer to you with the word of God. The bible tells us who is God and what is His position .Read Isaisah and you will know that we can totally depend on God .He says that even if your earthly father deserts you I will not. Yet we bow before lifeless idols and pour out our woes, The idol cannot talk and answer our prayers and help us and this is leading us to despair. We run he ar and there.
