Freddy,
Thanks for supporting me on the Konkani medium of instructions.
And besides, you have made your point with the tables.

Do you know why people hate the primary schools? Konkani, Marathi whatever?
Because the premises stink. The teachers stink. And the whole lot of Primary infrastructure stinks to kingdom come.

You change the situation from Zero to reach 10 with the primary school buildings/facilites/quality of teaching etc and you will see the response. Even those who want to send their children to English medium primary schools will change their minds.

If you need convincing still, visit our website www.goasu-raj.org and check out the chapter on EDUCATION from the downloadable Road Map for Goa
and you will be convinced.

Floriano,

I do support you on Konkanni as the medium of instruction for primary schools

Btw, Floriano, I still do my tables in Konkanni and my kids are often impressed and certainly don't look down on me. Bara eke bara, bara duke chobis, bara trik chetis, bara coake atechalis, bara panche satt ......No, I don't want to show off, but sent a message that learning in Konkanni does not make a person less
dignified or less qualified for that matter. Jai Konkanni
