Sangath, www.sangath.com, is looking to build a centre for services, training and research and seeks to buy approx 1500 to 2000 sq mtrs land betweeen Mapusa and Bambolim and surrounding rural areas. For example, in the Mississauga area (crawling with Goichis of all shades, including some dolls with dyed blond hair -me likes 'dis no men...), the library will certainly be open to this idea should a bunch of members suggest. The Mississauga Mayor Hazel was at the Goa Convention in 2008 and she could put in a kind word for the community. http://www.flickr.com/photos/goanet/2719162658/ This is the link to the city of Mississauga..... http://www.mississauga.ca/portal/home The only other area with a sizable Goichi pop in Kanada is Scarbrough. Some libraries (the Central Lib in Toronto) stocks India Today and TOI. However, with the internet they are good for wrapping. BTW, Toronto is now considered a developer-hot spot for 'user generated content' news (I think that is the description for this type of internet news). Example this out of Vancouver, http://www.nowpublic.com/search?fulltext=1&type=story&keys=goa Regards On Tue, Aug 4, 2009 at 12:52 PM, Frederick "FN" Noronha<[email protected]> wrote: > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > * G * O * A * N * E * T *** C * L * A * S * S * I * F * I * E * D * S * > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Sangath, www.sangath.com, is looking to build a centre for services, training > and research and seeks to buy approx 1500 to 2000 sq mtrs land betweeen > Mapusa and Bambolim and surrounding rural areas.
