If every one was Mahatma Gandhi the world would not be what it is today, unfortunately 99.99 % of us fall in the category that you mentioned, personal interest first and that's the reason the world is in shambles today, I too agree that most of us have a carving for physical wealth and better living and ever one has the right to that but what you fail to understand is Goa being a small and an underdeveloped state, it just cannot afford to accommodate an influx of migrant workers, Goa just does not have the necessary infrastructure hence it has to be controlled and in controlling the limit they too can have a better living along with us. It is certainly beyond my imagination as why you should think that we are victimizing migrants, if asking for control is victimizing then the whole wide world is doing it and hence so why shouldn't Goa do it ? Most of us do know how free market works, so one should also know how flooding and scarcity can set offset unprecedented trends. Every thing in excess is bad and so is migration, irrespective of it being, in or out migration. I am not sure how familiar you are with my posts, I have written umpteen number of times about the despicable quality of governance in Goa and even after knowing the hard truth why we still elect the same corrupt imbeciles over and over again, and over all, it is we Goans who are responsible for the utter woes that have befallen Goa and Goans, so you should know I don't blame the migrants for our woes nor am I victimizing them, all I am asking is control and limit, and I am sure there is nothing, absolutely nothing wrong in asking for that. What Arwin and myself do is in no way as complex as controlling moon rovers from earth, as mentioned in my last post, if you have over looked " (we) are still in touch with reality and live and stay in Goa when ever we can and have taken active part in helping our villagers to fight mining, land grabbing and mega housing and continue to do so from outside Goa or from within Goa". Even during the recent kidnapping drama, were in constant touch with our people as well as the authorities, fortunately it ended without any of our people getting hurt and we will continue our fight irrespective of the criticism or support we receive, if it matters to you, Mahatma Gandhi's words can serve as a beacon: "You may never know what results come of your action, but if you do nothing, there will be no result."
