Making your 'dream wedding' possible

Dear All,

This really go me going.  I was visited by a very close relative a day ago. For
some reason this relative, who successfully underwent a brain tumor operation
several years ago at the Bombay Hospital, made an unwarranted statement that
"doctors don't know what they are doing, they are experimenting, they cannot be
trusted".

Her other sister very recently came out of a very serious illness, where one of
Goa's topmost doctor had given up hopes of her survival. Every top physician in
Goa was employed to keep her alive. She, thankfully, is fine now.

Her other bro-in-law came out alive from a massive heart-attack in 2003. He is
hale and hearty now, enjoying his life to the fullest.

I suffer a bit of a heart ailment, and I know my doctor does everything to keep
me comfortable, and fit for work.

I wonder what gives these ungratefuls such guts to say doctors experiment when
they themselves and their kin have had doctors struggle to keep them alive.
Insensitivity to the noble profession is unwarranted. We can put up similar
claims that TEACHERS are stupid unknowledgeable and time-wasters because some
of their students are total failures.

Hope they don't have to go to doctors any more. Doctors struggle to save lives,
they are on-call 24X7X365. They have more on their conscience than anyone else
when it comes to saving lives. No other professional can be questioned as much
as a doctor.

My plea is - PLEASE RESPECT DOCTORS. They are NOT experimentists. One must see
them struggle through their nearly 6 years of study, 1 year of internship and
another 3 years of post-graduation. They have a conscience and do feel guilty
when they lose a patient. To experience that, we either have to be doctor's
ourselves, or parents of one.
