:If Indian citizenship ends as soon as one acquires the citizenship of another country, does this not mean that those Goans who opt for a Portuguese passport, which in fact means acquiring Portuguese citizenship, become aliens in India ? And as aliens are they not subject to the same restrictions vis-a-vis acquiring or owning real estate including agricultural properties in India ? I have always contended that one cannot serve two masters or be a citizen of two different countries at the same time.
