Once again the Lok Sabha has displayed great sagacity. I don’t really blame Sardinha. Like any politician keen on political survival, he is catering to his constituency.
This does not excuse the barbarity of bull fights where animals are trained and egged on to maim. The world over, such cruel sports are either banned or are in the process of being eliminated. If Sardinha has succeeded it would have heralded to the world the immaturity of Goemcars. Sometimes, despite my instincts, I am glad that Delhi carries a veto on what our elected kiddies propose to do to Goem; sitting in their little playpen which is the Sanchivalaya. Xanno Moidecar
