------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well, perhaps the Vasco-Dona Paula sea link will solve the water problem at Porvorim??? Or so the Goan politicians think! Recently, I read that the water supply to Mumbai was cut by 15% and the people came on the streets. Many parts of Panjim and Porvorim have faced these water shortages for decades now. I have carried 20 and 30 buckets of water to our apartment and so have many many hapless people in Panjim and Porvorim. Will there ever be a solution to the water crisis in Panjim? The sea link will help line the pockets of these politicians and those who own plots on the Dona Paula plato. Water supply is not at all a priority to Digambar Kamat and his friends!
