Cowardly attacks

Letters in ‘Herald’ accusing me of being a BJP ideologue are the
work of cowards hiding pseudonymity and trying to divert attention
from the real issue. My earlier political association with BJP was
in full public eye from day one, unlike the stealthy games of
many Christians and activists. The BJP is the same political
organisation to which the present Chief Minister Digambar Kamat
belonged.
Goa People’s Assembly (GPA) was my idea, and friends like
Rajan Parrikar were kind enough to help make it a reality, much
against the desire of corporate-funded activists who tried hard
to sabotage it by branding it as a BJP ploy.
London-based Praxy Fernandes should avoid giving me lessons on
Christianity. This habit of raising the communal bogey is outdated.
Whom are we trying to fool, when almost 50 per cent of those
who were associated with the BJP are ministers in the present
Congress government?
Meanwhile, the main issues regarding the questionable activities
of the ex-convener and the total failure of GBA remain unaddressed.
