Profound resolutions for our corrupt, inapt politicians, but will they heed ? The answer is obvious. Pigs, whoever well one might train them, will not stop eating what they like best. I do humbly apologies for the comparison, but unfortunately I could find no better one than that. I do firmly believe and support that our government should concentrate in providing us with good roads, uninterrupted supply of water and electricity, prior to any fancy major projects they intend to undertake. I do agree with most of the deliberations, solutions and actions to be taken but I dare say I agree, with the progressive evaluation of the performance of the two most corrupt and the most arrogant ministers, in the present Goa government, namely Don Monseratte and comrade Vishwajit Rane. Most probably Wendell missed the hillsides that are cut and the fields that are filled to erect concrete jungles, where the law does not allow more than ground plus one, Don Monseratte has managed to approve multistoried colonies, sixty percent of the green cover in his constituency has already been destroyed. It's true, compared to the rest of Goa, the roads are wide and clean, but for much how longer will it remain clean and green, with the migrant vote bank he has created, to secure his seat ? Rane Jr on the other hand is more corrupt than his famous senior, no doubt he has given us a couple of new, proud to be medical facilities in urban Goa, with little doubt of the sins of commissions and omissions playing a major role than, his good will. What has he actually done to provide better facilities for the poor in rural Goa, which makes up for the majority of the population ? Have the facilities, conditions and the attitudes prevalent in government hospitals improved in any way ? Why has the non functional equipment at the GMC been repaired, not much commission in there ? As a health minister he along with Don Monseratte did do well, to somehow manage to lift finger prints of man dead and cremated, all the way in Canacona in a land sale deed for a five star hotel, how very wonderfully resourceful can they both be ? There is just one more thing of utmost importance that been missed, instead of the politicians making resolutions, how about we Goans make a resolution, to do away with these corrupt politicians and elect truly worthy and incorruptible people to run our government in Goa ? This one resolution will infact sort out all our problems ! Won't it ?
