Most started wearing underwear (including Kaxtti) at the age of 16-18. It was fine then, as we never heard of Pedophiles, perverts etc But who has not heard of it now?
Offcourse, I am referring to the 9 year old rape case in Goa where victim was completely nude in the water. (So says her mother ref. GT) 34 year old mother (A doctor by profession) further says ‘ in Russia, while elders wear a swimsuit and kids swim nude’ To the Mother: - That’s Russia (your Country) and this India (foreign country) - Children swimming nude together with their parents seems OK But you were not with your Child this time, leaving her all alone in the water Some Questions needed answers: How one can possibly leave one child unattended particularly when in sea water (and nude in this case)? How one can possibly allow a stranger closer to his/her (nude) kid/s in the water? What constitutes a rape? Sexual abuse, fiddling, fondling, sexual advancement, sexual assault etc is also a rape? The victim says ‘the accused (Aman) hold her tight and put his fingers inside her private part” I guess, by definition, this is also a rape (?).. When news headline like ‘RAPE’ or when it says ‘9 year old (Russian) is raped on Goa beach’ whole world media pays/gives /gets attention including our national media. The other day I saw a National media van by the promenade and the next day I saw Dr. Oscar Rebello on TV/Net at the very same spot at the ferry with river Mandovi and casino boat in the background. Earlier, it was said the accused is also a tourist (domestic) but later was it was found out he was one of the migrants that constitute nearly half of the Goan’s population (2001 census, Migrants were about 33%). Whatever happened to the young girl is bad, in fact, very bad. While our MP Shantaram Naik suggest ‘death sentence’ to the rapists (as in this case). I was to suggest compulsory ‘Copaz’ to such convicts but again, they will still be having their fingers.. Prevention is better than cure. So, it’s best to ban nudity for all ages on Goan Beaches etc. Hope lessons learnt by us all. N.B. The two accused are now being arrested in about 3 days time.
