I had spoken from the audience (seated left of Aires leading Manohar
Parrikar). I had talked about the 4 crore drug ( cocain) haul at Helipad
Sinquerim and the bloody fight between the police and the drug lords. I had
also mentioned that nothing would appear in the papers. Rightly so, nothing
did. Drugs have been flying out of Goa via the charter flights.
Many a times, when opportunity afforded, I have spoken of a British
national emailing me the names and addresses of the drug mafia ( Israelis)
in Goa wanting me to do something about it. Instead, I had written to the
gentleman that I shall archive his post. That should I even whisper this
information in the ears of the policemen I consider friends, my throat would
be cut the next day.
And I have been dead right. Voila Ashish Shirodkar et al on the payrole of
drug pedlers.
At one point Allen D'Sa, whom I consider a very good friend, was the ANC
Chief. But I have kept my gob shut. By this I am not incriminating Allen
D'Sa. But the wrong people in the police like AS would ultimately get to
know the source.
Let us see how far this expose goes and if the deep roots
(politician-police- drug mafia nexus) will be revealed.
Nine out of ten, nothing will happen. On the contrary we should not be
surprised to hear about suicides taking place even behind bars and in
police custody.

Tainted Goa 'drug cop' Ashish Shirodkar has today (March 18) been
arrested by the Crime Branch of Goa police for his alleged with drug
mafia in the state.
The Crime Branch has been investigating the case after a spy cam video
surfaced on youtube.com, of an Israeli drug peddler named Atala who
claimed he had paid Shirodkar a hefty sum to buy drugs seized by the
Anti Narcotic Cell from previous raids. He also claimed the officer
had been paid Rs 1 lakh to release an arrested peddler.
Shirodkar's anticipatory bail application is scheduled to come up for
hearing in court tomorrow. Police sources say they will move for
custody of Shirodkar, who has already been suspended since the expose.
Four other cops including a head constable and three other constables
allegedly involved in the scam have already been suspended. The
policemen were suspended over allegations of protecting another
arrested drug peddler named 'Duddu'
