The Sex Pistols were the original boy band. Manufactured for maximum
attention whoring potential by McClaren, the band really had nothing to
offer, talent wise. Even McLaren himself said of the band, “I never thought
the Sex Pistols would be any good, but it didn’t matter if they were bad.”
Good or bad, they blew up and to this day people define punk rock by the
Pistols.
People may find the above very shocking, but life is the goodness and my
