RADIO MIRCHI 98.3FM PRESENTS `EARTH DAY’ FOR A GREENER GOA
Get set to commemorate World Earth Day the Mirchi way with a `Green is
Cool, Mirchi’s Hot’ All Goa community campaign conceptualized by Radio
Mirchi 98.3 FM from 22nd to 25th April. The community environmental
festival has been innovatively packaged with on-air and on-ground
activities to involve mass audience participation from across Goa.
Interesting highlights of the on-air campaign includes Green Goa alerts,
messages by young Goan environmentalists focused on `Committing to
Conserve a Green Goa,' besides on-ground events showcasing an
environmental film festival, drawing competitions and young
eco-photographers photo exhibition across Panjim, Curchorem, Vasco,
Margao and Bicholim.
Films will be hosted from April 22-25 (3pm-6pm) at the Jury Auditorium,
Kala Academy. Wildlife & Eco-Photography Exhibition brings together
multi-faceted Goan wildlife and eco photographers at the Art Gallery,
Kala Academy from April 22-25 (11am-6pm).
All Goa Children’s Drawing Competition (8-12 years), will also initiate
a competition on the theme `My World Through My Eyes’ across Margao,
Panjim, Vasco, Bicholim and Curchorem.
