De Souza Trust Goa Scholarship and the Goa Education Trust Scholarship 2010
The Goa Education Trust (GET) De Souza Trust Goa Scholarships 2010 aims to
provide opportunities for dynamic students of Goan origin who have demonstrated
academic excellence and extra curricular achievements to study or train in
educational institutions in the United Kingdom. It will provide scholarships
and/or research fellowships to eligible students for their postgraduate studies
in the UK in all fields and departments.
The scholarships cover full or part tuition fees and student visa for the UK.
All other costs are to be borne by the students.
Applicants should register online using the email Id they most frequently use,
as all correspondence related to the scholarships will be made on this email.
On submitting the application form, applicants will receive an acknowledgement
message along with a unique identification number.
Eligibility and assessment criteria:
The applicant should: (i) be an Indian citizen with a valid passport and
residing in India at the time of applying for the scholarship; (ii) be resident
in Goa or born of Goan parents; (iii) be not more than 30 years old at the time
of applying; (iv) be a graduate having excellent academic track record and
extra curricular achievement; and (v) have confirmed admission for any academic
course of study in the UK for up to one year.Deadline for submission: May 31,
