Dear Geraldo,
I fully agree with your comments regarding Goan MP Keith Vaz who has been reelected as Labour MP in Leiceister. . I live in UK and agree with Geraldo that the only reason Keith Vaz has won is because of the majority Asian population and not on his merits. In fact Labour, to win more seats very shrewdly fields Asian candidates in constituencies which has a majority Asian population and not on the candidates' merits. In fact if they had fielded non Asian candidates in Asian dominated constituencies they would have got a lesser number of MPs than they managed to get in the recent UK elections. Keith's sister too has been elected as a Labour MP. In fact in politics it is very difficult to get a clean politician. Most of them instead of serving their voters serve themselves. He may win an election, thanks to the large Asian population in Leceister his constituency. Goans anywhere, can hardly be proud of this man.
