Freddy, I wholeheartedly agree with you. These scoundrels should be prosecuted and all their illegal doings should be publicized for all to see. Then all their ill-gotten gains should be repaid to the government, and their remaining assets whether got by fair means of foul be confiscated and forfeited to the state. This will act as a deterrent to stop future politicians who wish to enrich themselves at the expense of Goa and Goans to think twice for the same fate will befall them should they wander into such corrupt ways.
I therefore throw this challenge to all Goans to unite in the face of these atrocities and first and foremost vote these thieves and robbers out of parliament. The only way we can do this is to register one and all as voters and then turn up in force on election day and vote in dedicated, honest, trustworthy and selfless people to represent us in parliament. People who will have Goa's and Goan's interests at heart and not their own. People who value their name and who will be seen by their deeds to be people of integrity. This is the only way we can ensure that there will be a place called Goa, not in name only, but truly representative of our traditional views and values. Come on Goans, we are facing a crises. If we don't unite now and stem the advance of these corrupt politicians, then we will only have ourselves to blame. We have to show them that we are not cowards! WE HAVE BEEN MEEK AND HUMBLE FOR TOO LONG AND ALLOWED EVERYONE TO WALK ALL OVER US. WE MUST FIGHT BACK AND REGAIN WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY OURS AND GUARD IT WITH OUR LIVES, ONCE ACHIEVED.
