We hereby request all the Members of the Goan Welfare Society – Kuwait
to cooperate with us to get the records of Membership updated. Please be
advised that the Managing Committee of Goan Welfare Society is no longer
in possession of their own original records. The Ex-General Secretary is
holding all the records and has refused to hand over the same to the
duly elected Managing Committee, despite several reminders. After
exercising maximum tolerance not to go public on the issue, we are left
with no choice but to take this step.
Those of you who are Members are hereby kindly requested to approach the
Managing Committee, with your GWS Identity Cards, for fresh registration
of members. Alternatively, please send in your details by email to:
([email protected]), along with a scanned copy of your GWS
Identity Card, latest by - 10th June 2010 to enable the Managing
Committee to prepare a new record of Membership.
Please note that failure to register within the specified date, will
result in non-recognition of your previous membership, if any, and will
hereafter not be considered a member of Goan Welfare Society. Any claims
of membership, thereafter, will be the entire responsibility of the
Ex-General Secretary to safeguard your interests and claims.
Further, all the Members of the Goan Welfare Society – Kuwait, may
kindly note that the ex-President continues to hold funds belonging to
the Goan Welfare Society – Kuwait, and he has failed to turn these funds
over to the duly elected Managing Committee, despite several attempts to
recover the same from him.
