Jerry,

This film may be called 'a documentary' which portrays hinterland 'forester's life' and the conundrums associated with it. There is no place for a famous Konkani stage actor or actress in this film. It is a down to earth story with a crystal clear messages for modern GOA.

1. ' BEWARE OF POLITICIANS WHO HIDE BEHIND RELIGION'
2. 'BEWARE OF RELIGIOUS LEADERS WHO SPEAK FOR POLITICIANS'

The director of the film 'Shetgaonkar' is one man with real b**ls
:-))

Dears

Just out of curiousity am asking this, if there are any of our famous actors
( tiatrists and so) atleast handful, who are acting in this movie? Or its
only the Natak company?

Goans have been staging Tiatros for ages, and there are many famous names to list them here. Great comedians, Great singers and Best of all Great Actors. I checked and found only three names who may have acted excellent, but there
are many to fill other roles but am wondering if any were selected.

I had seen one movie some time back, another Konkani movie based on mines of
goa, and the only two actors who were there were Jacob, just slight role,
and Lorna who sang one song. Otherwise no other great actor was given any
role.

Am curious to know from those who watched the film.
