RESPONSE: If the good surgeon Anil Desai would take his head out of the colo-rectal region, and take a deep breath, he would realise that Doctors do NOT need medico-legal advice for the admission of any patient with chest pains to hospital (or even ICU). On the other hand, if the doctor does not admit the patient and the unfortunate happens .....he/she would definitely need medico-legal help to defend him/herself. I suppose, once one cooks turmeric really well .....some people get a colo-rectal irritation. It should not be that way though. I always thought that turmeric is best when it is cooked really well. jc
