Workshop on ‘Khell-Tiatr’ to be held
Kala Academy Goa in collaboration with Tiatr Academy of Goa (TAG) will organise a workshop on ‘Khell-Tiatr’ on Sunday, 29th August 2010 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Black Box, Kala Academy Goa, Campal, Panjim.
There is a need to preserve the Goan Khell-Tiatr in its true form and therefore the need to organise such a workshop arises. Nowadays there is a lot of confusion in the minds of tiatr lovers about the format of ‘Tiatr’ and ‘Khell-Tiatr’. Kala Academy and TAG feel that these two distinct forms should be preserved the way they were staged in the past.
Shri.Antonio Moraes, Shri.Vitorino Pereira, Shri.Patrick Dourado and Shri.Ligorio Fernandes, the veteran artistes from the field of ‘Khell-Tiatr’ will guide the participants. ‘Khell-Tiatr’ lovers are requested to take advantage of this Konkani dramatic form called ‘Khell-Tiatr’.
