Twenty Schools to Participate
All Goa Inter Schools Dance Competition on Songs of National Integration
organized by Kala Mogi, Candolim in collaboration with Dalgado Konknni
Academy and Tiatr Academy Goa will be held on Monday, 23rd August, 2010
at 9.30 a.m. sharp at the DMK auditorium of Kala Academy Panjim. In all
20 schools are participating in the competition.
The purpose in organizing the Dance Competition on Songs of National
Integration is to attempt to inculcate values of patriotism in the
students through song, music and dance.
The Participating schools are: Holy Spirit High School, Margao, Little
Flower High School, Calangute. St. Thomas Boy’s High School, Aldona. St.
Anthony’s High School, Guirim, St. Xavier’s High School, Moira, St.
Michel’s High School, Anjuna. St. Francis Xavier’s High School, Peddem,
Mapusa, Institute of Instruction High School, Panjim, Assagao Union High
School, Assagao, Rosary High School, Dona Paula, Almeida High School,
Ponda, Sacred Heart of Jesus High School, Anjuna, Holy Cross Convent
High School, Siolim, G. S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir, Mapusa, Lourdes
Convent High School, Saligao, Fatima Convent High School, Margao, Holy
Cross High School, Bastora, Mushtifund High School, Panaji, Auxilium
High School, Caranzalem and St Joseph’s High School, Arpora.
The following prizes for best performances will be awarded:-
(1) 1st Prize – Rs. 5,000/- plus trophy.
(2) 2nd Prize – Rs. 3,000/- plus trophy
(3) 3rd Prize – Rs. 2,000/- plus trophy.
Besides all participants will be given ‘Certificates of participation’.
Refreshments will be provided to the participants of every group after
their performance is over. To and fro transport will also be provided
for the participating schools.
The participating schools are requested to report to the venue of
Competition on time.
