I understand that Chief Minister Digambar Ali Khan has declared a state of mourning following the death of an elderly Goan bamon. I further understand that the deceased gentleman was world famous in Madgaon. Digambar Ali hopes that this ploy will peel off enough bamon votes in the next election to take him over the finish line. As for me - I mourn that the Goa we knew has passed on.
