Goanet mourns the passing of Cornel da Costa in London, England - Sep 10/10

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Condolences! Better late than Never!

I am privileged to having met Cornel in person at the Goan Convention 2008 in
Toronto; and also again at the Goan mega Function in London later the same
year. Because of this and also having a few skirmishes with him on goanet and
other goan forums,I feel particularly sad at his suddem demise.

I did not know; as I was travelling within Australia, and so I did not read
'goanet' for last three days; until a common friend from London emailed me
about Cornel's passing away; only then I looked up Goanet.

He was a good person, always concerned at certain issues that were plaguing
him. I always had the feeling he was an angry man in some ways, and
unnecessarily taking on the burdens of the world's ills upon himself so
seriously, that he could have made himself miserable and stressed out.

May his 'soul' rest in peace! He probably never believed in a 'Soul' So I would
say: RIP.

As an atheist and vehemently anti Christian (Catholic) religion only; I often
wondered as to what sort of 'slant' his 'Atheism' held. I sincerely hope he
will find out, in his after life.

My sincere condolences to his family, that survives him and may they be able to
cope with their bereavement.
For 'all that' he Will be missed on Goanet and other Goan Forums.
