Besides Ultramarino, on the water front was there a Chartered Bank, which was a white building? I think, I remember seeing it in the early 70's. Chartered bank later on merged with Standard Bank to form StanChart. I don't suppose there is a StandardChartered Branch now in Goa, although the Bank is pretty big in India and especially in wholesale finance in Bombay.
