It's your second come back if I am not mistaken and this comes to you after
the short telecon while you were recuperating.
And I'm sure you will be around bcause a person like you is needed, more so
for GOA.
Your piece in today's NT captioned "Municipal Councils should be Independent
of Politicians" makes a whole lot of good sense. By seasoned politicians
and political parties getting themselves involved in grass-roots governance
like Municipalities and Panchayats, we are preparing the gennext
leaderships to take over the future affairs of Goa, in front of whom the
today's seasoned politicians will look like SAINTS.

The Mapusa Nagrikancho Evott's fight with the Mapusa Municipal Elections was
just this example where its panel of 5 candidates didn't have a chance
though one got very close indeed. That is the consolation that MNE will have
to nurse until the next attempt.
NEVER GIVE UP IS THE MOTTO - OTHERWISE THERE IS NO REASON TO LIVE ON AND
ASPIRE.
