BICHOLIM DEC 2: The Sanatan Sanstha claiming that the Congress government in the state is all up to destroying the Hindu organisations asked the people to work towards creating Hindu nation where all the religions will be respected. The Hindu Janjagruti Samiti had today organised a public meeting at Shatrapati Shivaji Maidan Bicholim attended by about 1000 people from in and around Bicholim. The Shiv Sena Goa chief, Ramesh Naik; Abhay Vartak from Sanatan Prabhat, HJS, Vinay Panwalkar and Ramkrishna Garde were among those present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion Abhay Vartak of the Sanatan Prabhat Sanstha told about how the congress government tried all means to claim their organisation as a terrorist organisation. "The congress government tried all means to harass the organisation by terming it as a terrorist organisation and even when the court gave the verdict the government still continued with their dirty politics" Vartak told "they have failed in their motives the truth prevailed." He claimed that the government is trying to destroy all the Hindu organisations and told that if the people want to save the religion they have to demand Hindu nation. "We need a nation where all the saints will be respected" Vartak explained. He also came down heavily on the attitude of the media who are trying to suppress the voice of Hindu organisation and are always ready to attack them. "When Sanatan office at Ponda was attacked for about 20 times in Goa no media voiced against it" Vartak told "we have all the proof and a CD of the attacked that was done on the ashram but even the police did not act upon it on the instruction of the politicians." "Even if terrorist activities are taking place in a mosque the government will not act, they will not act if the cows are illegally slaughtered but will only target those who speak the truth." he told. He also told that their organisation is active throughout the world and even foreign people are getting attracted towards the religion. The Shiv Sena Goa chief, Ramesh Naik told that Hindu religion always tries to protect all other religions. "Religion should be in the heart of the person and it cannot be destroyed by any government." Naik told. He also came down heavily on the Congress government for their policy towards Hindu religion. Vinay Panvalkar of HJS and Ramkrishna Garde also spoke on the occasion. About 16 resolutions were passed to protect the religion. Demand was also made to protect all the temples in the state.
