JC comment: I believe that Santosh Helekar's comment is patently unfair for the following reasons: a: Political and quasi-political organizations like the IRA, UDF, SS, SS2, JDL, PLO, Anjuman et al and the KKK are all known for their traditional tolerance towards those who belong to another faith or atheistic group. b: One can always take political 'promises' to the bank. Goan politicians have been 'banking' on the basis of those promises. Does Matanhy Saldanha disagree? c: For a Catholic like me, it is quite easy to live in a SS or SS2 regime. All I have to do is "swadeshify" my faith, that's all and practice my Catholic faith according to the principles of Hinduism. No more Mother Teresa. From now on it will be Tara Mata. And do not even think of uttering the words Sonia, Benedict or Francis Xavier. Besides, IFFI was brought to Goa by the horrible pseudo-Secular Kangress chaps who, to their credit, also produced the very tolerant VideoCD. Do not know what the hungama was all about. jc
