-- Samir Umarye BICHOLIM JAN 11: The Animal Rescue Squad Bicholim on Monday rescued at 7.10 foot long crocodile from Nawarwado Pale in Bicholim.
According to the available information the ARS chief, Amrut Singh got the information at about 8.45 pm that a huge crocodile was seen inside a canal in a kulagar at Nawarwado Pale. After the information the ARS team led by Amrut Singh along with Hassan Shaikh & Babu Vithal Joshi swung into action and went to the spot. "The crocodile was first spoted by Prathamesh Patil, Pritam Patil and Santosh Gawali who informed us" Amrut Singh told "it was very large and it was very difficult for us to trap it and it took almost an hour to catch the crocodile." Later, the crocodile was sent handed over to RFO Bondla officials.
