Comment:
I very much agree that no system is perfect because man himself is imperfect. 
We need to take what is positive. As regards citing the example of Cuba, it was 
just the point to refute the argument whether one can survive by growing 
potatoes and tomatoes,.....I may not agree with the political system in place. 
But food sufficiency is as vital to any economy as any other industry.  Having 
to depend on others for food and water offers scope for arm twisting. That is 
exactly what is going to happen to Goa that heavily depends on 90% of its 
agriculture produce from Maharashtra and Karnataka. Recently the vegetable 
transporters had a strike because horticulture department of Goa was procuring 
vegetables and selling it at cheaper rates. Tomorrow it will be over some 
political issue that vegetables and milk supply gets stopped. To me, this 
dependency is the single greatest threat for Goa's survival.
