Thanks for saying that -

I still question the word "Torture". Do the self-styled FFs know what torture
is? Have they read about the recent happenings in Northern India? About what
the
Britis did (Jallianwala Bagh, retaliation to sepoy mutiny, the treatment meted
out to famine victims) in a short span of 200 years compared to 450 years of
the
Portuguese? How did the Portuguese treat Goans when Goa was blockaded by India?
How did the Brit colonials treat the Indians when there were famines raging in
the North East?

And yet, India follows the British colonial system of rule (guilty unless
proven
innocent), and English is the "lingua franca".

The hypocrites send their children to the best Catholic schools.  One one hand
they say get rid of the Portuguese names, on the other hand they accept that
the
Portuguese uniform civil code is the best India has ever seen.

Then again, the age-old Gaonkari system, which appears to be Gandhi's dream
become reality, was chucked out by the conquerors in favour of the corrupt
Panchayat system. Where were the self-styled FFs when this happened?
