It is true that Indian Goans feel safer in their motherland, India, than in China, because of lack of individual freedom in the Chinese totalitarian communist regime, and the many personal restrictions such as the one-child mandate, leading to an increase in forced abortions and female infanticide in much greater numbers than in India.
Only 18% of Konknni-speaking Goans live in Goa. Their population in China is next to zero. Most of them live in other states of India because of better opportunities. Most of them have also married Indians from other states.
