Condolence Meet for Philomena Braz

Tiatr Academy of Goa has organized a condolence meeting on Monday, 28th
February 2011 at 5:00 pm sharp at he the Maharaja Hall, Goa Woodlands
Hotel, Margao to condole the death of veteran tiatr artiste Philomena
Braz e Crasto.
Philomena Braz stepped on tiatr stage when there was a taboo for girls
to act on the tiatr stage. In fact she gave a lead to other girls to act
on tiatr stage due to her sheer courage of conviction. She served the
tiatr stage for a long time and contributed immensely for the
development of tiatr.
She was not only an excellent actor but an equally good singer and
writer. Her HMV Records are still played by All India Radio.
All tiatr artistes are requested to attend the condolence meet and pay
appropriate tributes to late Philomena Braz.
