QUESTIONS et COMMENT: Was it 'legal' to 'drink' in Bombay at that time? IF it was not, and Eugene observed him doing so - as his post suggests - why did he not report the matter to the police? Why did he not "report" it in his newsrag? IS it possible that Eugene also 'drank' at 'aunty's joint" at the same time? Why did Eugene not report himself to the police? Why is Eugene writing this stuff about a third party (who cannot speak for himself) in this public forum? How does it benefit the forum? How does it benefit Eugene? How does this information benefit anybody? Is it meant to exacerbate the bogus impression about Goans - that they are drunks? I understand the Dhobi Talao culture may have to something with the mind set of some folks, BUT, I hope we realise that not every Goan was/is connected with Dhobi Talao - whatever the good or not so good that connection might have caused to Goans and others. Please, please, please stop gossiping (sip sipping) useless information about others who are not "in the public arena"..... The Toronto gossip saga was enough!. jc On 03/03/2011, Eugene Correia <[email protected]> wrote: > Prof. Edward's (Eddie) last name was Mendonca. BTW, he drank at the aunty's > joint above Snowflake.
