IT IS BETTER TO TRY AND FAIL, THAN FAIL TO TRY. I think you are right Vivian DSouza. Some demonstration , some popular reaction against what is going on in Goa is urgent and crucial and it is a thousand times better than no reaction. Besides, it is our right and our duty!
People in Goa may have to try and try again but they need to try! If attempts in the past failed , it doesn't mean you should sit at home and give up for ever, and spend your precious time criticizing the ones who have the courage to be out there fighting to get what Goa needs now. If attempts in the past failed, it doesn't mean they will also fail in future - on the contrary, chances are next time round they will be successful if people are alert, vigilant, involved and committed. If some people keep trying over and over again, it just shows their determination, and resolve to bring some positive change to Goa. What we need for the 15th March is positivism and encouragement. Getting stuck on retrospect history is not useful anymore. Learn the lessons pick up the pieces and move forward! Wish all the success to GRA's 15th March demo. From: "Vivian A. Sitting at home and saying to myself "same old, same old" will drive me crazy.? Something has to be done.? I am too much of a sceptic to expect much to happen.? But I am clutching at straws, and am willing to give whoever new comes in the picture a chance.? Or else I will never be able to forgive myself for my apathy.? It is exactly this susegad, apathetic attitude that has allowed those in power to ride rough shod over us niz goenkars.? I may be sorely disappointed by the outcome, but what are our choices besides drowning our sorrows in Feni ?
