BICHOLIM MARCH 9: A 27 year old truck driver from Uttar Pradesh was killed when he was smashed between two trucks at Maina Navelim. According to the available information one Manojkumar Bakilal Paswan (27) originally from Jodhpura UP had parked his truck (GA-01-V-3275) near the overbridge at Navilim Sanqulim and was removing the cover over his truck. As the truck was on the slope it started moving forward. Paswan was dragged along with the truck and withing seconds he was crushed between his own truck and another truck ( GA-01-V-3275) parked in front. Paswan died on the spot. PSI, Vikram Naik conducted the panchanama and the body is preserved at GMC morgue. BICHOLIM MARCH 9: A 32 year old person from Narayannagar Ponda died in a self accident on Thursday night at Harvalem Sanquelim. According to the Bicholim police one Suresh Pandurang Paryekar (32) from Narayan Nagar Ponda was proceeding on his motorcycle (GA-04-K-9267) from Sanquelim towards Harvalem. On reaching Harvalem he lost his balance and hit the compound. He was admitted to PHC Sanquelim but was declared dead. Bicholim PSI, Ditendra Naik conducted the panchanama and handed over the body to the relatives.
