1. Goa Legislative Assembly is on record to have passed an unanimous
resolution on August 30, 2008 that Goa should get Special Status to save
its land, ethos and culcuture just like Mizoram et al. Is this a fact???
... motions having been moved by Reginald Lourence (Curtorim) and Francis
D'Souza (Mapusa)
2. Has this resolution been conveyed to the Center?? If so, when??

Comments : Camilo Fernandes : Following Floriano's lead in sending above
mail to Shantaram Naik, I suggest that all Goans both based in Goa and overseas
should send emails on the same lines as Floriano's mail to Naik, demanding
what steps he has taken to grant special status for Goa. As Freddy wrote,
Shantaram should also be reminded the promise Nehru made to Goans to grant
special status for Goa to protect the identiy and culture of Goans.
