I am responding this for the benefit of those Goanetters who may
be interested in knowing the truth. 

Just google “Dr. Stephen Barrett & psychiatrist”, and you’ll
hit innumerable sites. Secondly, in my previous post it is clearly mentioned at
one of the three sites, that Dr. Barrett gave sic “ ‘expert’ testimony as a 
psychiatrist” in
Courts which was termed fraudulent as he had failed the certification 
examination. Pls re-read the sites and confirm.


To find the third leading killer in US, <jc> would do well
to read Journal of American Medical Association July 26, 2000;284(4):483-5,
instead of whiling his time on the keyboard.

So Dr. Jose can contact the Law firm and get all required details as he
will have to excuse me. I do not have the time nor patience to spoon feed what
is already set at the table from my previous post. Besides, <jc> has made
it so obvious that he has a challenged memory which fails him innumerable
times, even before he “passed out” from Bombay University. 

By the way <jc>, Dr Barrett also has delusions that he is a
“legal expert” which was exposed in the US Courts on cross examination.Read

COMMENT:

I had a good look at the above post and thought that before I classify it as
Good, OK or Utter Nonsense, I'd seek clarification for some of the
statements contained therein:

re #1: Would Dr. Falcao please direct me to a site where Dr. Barrett
(himself) claims to be an MD in Psychiatry?

re #2: Perhaps, Dr. Falcao will expand on that statement - no doubt, taking
into consideration the fact that the basic degree in Medicine in the US is a
"Doctorate" i.e. post-graduate degree.

re #3: People all over the world have opinions - about others. The challenge
is to verify the basis of those opinions and if there are vested interests
that lie behind those comments.

re #4: Perhaps, Dr. Falcao will direct us "directly" to the so called-court
opinions, he is referring to ....and not an opinion about a court opinion.

re #5: I agree with part of that statement i.e. "Only laymen with little
knowledge of science or scientifically challenged persons will place trust
in .. non-experts".

re #5 (again): Perhaps, Dr. Falcao or the sites he refers us to, will
provide evidence for the following: "Conventional medicine is the third
leading killer in the US, 250,000 deaths/year".
