I recently appreciated the Qatar based Doha Goan Sports Club, for not entertaining any Anti-Goan Politician as special invitees or chief guests, at their recently held Dance Event.
In the same manner it would not be fair, if I also do not appreciate the fact that Saint Mary's Goan Community Dubai (SMGC) who also had a Successful and House Full Dance Event without entertaining any of the Anti Goan Politicians, even though these Destructive/Corrupt Politicians were in Dubai on the same day, gracing another well published Event in co-ordination with their local agents. This kind of act of not dancing with the tainted politicians is in a way, a democratic disapproval of the Anti-Goan Politicians and sends a message to other Goans to discourage the same. I do hope that the SMGC continue with this approach for their future events and that this be an example, to the other Overseas Goans in the Gulf and elsewhere, who encourage Anti Goan Politicians for reasons best known to them!!
