Note: Arvind Bhatikar probably forgets that Salcete, Mormugoa, Ilhas and Bardez were the talukas that supported the anti-RP2011 struggle. He forgets that he and Shridhar Kamat in their enthusiasm were hopping around churches in Salcete under the pretext of creating awareness on the RP-2011 before they were confronted by Soter and Miguel of the GBA at the T.B. Cunha Hall in Panjim. He forgets his repeated adventures in taking the support of Fr. Maverick of CSJP until he miserably failed to pull a fast one on the Church for the anti-corruption crusade in Goa. He forgets that it were these talukas that won the Opinion against merger of Goa into Maharashtra. He forgets that it were these talukas that forced the Rane Government to grant official status to Konkani. The motives of Arvind Bhatikar, Parrikar and others is now becoming clearer by the day.
