Atlast the utterly corrupt Govt. of Yedurappa has found its KNIGHT in the Education Minister trying to impart moral education to students in Schools, perhaps as a long range strategy to have a future crop of citizens bristling with moral indignation! Talk about the pie in the sky which will materialise by and by whist fiddling or twiddling fingers at the current pathetic state of affairs! However the knave displays his knavery and utter disregard for the Constitution of India when he asserts that India is only for Hindus and others have no place to live in India unless they undergo remedial education in the Bhagvad Gita. Sancho Panza masquerading as Education Minister of Karnataka is too insignificant a worm to be taken seriously by citizens of the Republic of India, that is Bharat ( WE HAVE ALWAYS WONDERED WHETHER THE NAME 'BHARAT" IN THE NAME OF OUR COUNTRY STOOD FOR "BHARAT" BROTHER OF RAM OR "BHARAT" SON OF RISHIBHADRA THE JAIN TIRTHANKARA. OF COURSE WE ALL KNOW THAT MAHAVIR WAS THE 24th TIRTHANKARA & 23 OTHER TIRTHANKARAS WENT BEFORE HIM, and THAT SOME HISTORIANS REFER TO ARTIFACTS FOUND AT MOHENJO- DARO HARAPPA CIVILISATION SITES AS HAVING A JAIN ORIGIN, AND THE PACIFISM OF INDIA IN ITS ANCIENT POLITY AS BEING ROOTED IN JAIN PHILOSOPHICAL MOORINGS) Leaving aside these interpretations to historians and academicians more facile than common citizens we as citizens HASTEN TO ASSERT THAT THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA ,THAT IS BHARAT IS A SECULAR REPUBLIC, QUITE UNLIKE PAKISTAN WHICH IS AN ISLAMIC REPUBLIC. OUR FOUNDING FATHERS WERE WISE AND DID NOT FALL INTO A TRAP TO DECLARE INDIA AS A HINDU REPUBLIC. THE POLITY OF INDIA IS SECULAR, AND COURTS HAVE INTERPRETED SECULAR TO MEAN EQUAL RESPECT FOR ALL RELIGIONS. If we take the argument of the Education Minister of Karnataka seriously then all religions must be afforded a chance to have equal number of hours as moral education based on Islam, Christianity,Jainism, Buddhism, Zorasteranism, ATHEISM ( yes even atheism) Communism, Socialism, Animism and any other faith/belief. The faster this clown Education Minister of Karnataka is brought to the Lighthouses of Goa to wave at passing Ships, make faces and tilt at windmills the better it would be for both Karnataka as also for Goa, and ofcourse for the Republic of India, that is Bharat!!!!!
