Should we Goans be carried away by this cheap piece of political analysis from
migrant fixers and brokers?
Rascals conveniently forget the time they were feasting on the controversy that
arose over the diocesan institutions shifting to English. Who were these
migrants supporting then, the church or those opposing the move?
Now they conveniently seem to forget that the devnagiri Konkani bandwagon which
could not see eye to eye with the marathi protagonists have embraced each other
to oppose the so perceived Cristaos demanding grants for English medium
schools. So times have changed and why shouldn't the church?
The Church has been used as toilet paper time and again by these very forces
which now dub cristaos as anti-nationals and Portuguese symapthisers and raise
questions over the non-contribution of the Church towards social issues in
Hindu Goa. Hopefully the MoI has been a learning experience for the Church
about the Bible of deceit and opportunism that flourishes under the guise of
Hindu secularism.
Unfortunately Goan memory is short. Migrants get treated as Gods by shameless
Goans.
This cheap peice of journalistic ejaculation will only be appreciated by
gullible goans.
