Floriano is very much right on this point. Advani is also not yet cleared of serious criminal charges. Narendra Modi continues to remain out of jail. Who will being these hard core law-breakers to book? What is more serious a crime, a few rupees stolen from the government kitty or thousands of lives, even pregnant women and children murdered in the name of religion? Whom will raise this issue and bring a full proof Bill to ensure speedy justice? Will Anna Hazare dare to take a fast on this issue?
Not only reporting corruption will help. Ensuring that one';s own life is rid of petty corruption. Can this Young India with candles behave themselves when the police is not around? Who drinks and drives and kills people sleeping on the pavements? Who patronises drug parties which are against the law? Who uses influence to cover up criminal cases and weaken cases? Will this Young India dare to correct itself first before undertaking this farce of Saving the nation? We are an irresponsible nation when it comes to obeying laws in our daily life. We do not want the police to fine us for parking in no parking zones. We do not want to wear helmets. We jump the speed limits when the police is not around. And here we are disciplining the PM and politicians. What a farce? Doctor heal yourself first. I have been fighting corruption in my village since 1989, the first anti-mega project ruckus erupted in my village. A corrupt sarpanch was ousted in 1999 in my village. His corruption case is still lingering in court for last 12 years. These very lawyers of India Against Corruption will be defending him. The more difficult the case the more the lawyers fees. Let us remember that. Mahatma Gandhi has written extensively on the subject of lawyers and doctors who are not to be trusted. These are the curse of our nation.
