There seems to be a lack of clarity about the meaning of basic concepts such as
conspiracy, ethics and evidence in the post appended below. Hopefully, almost
everybody in this forum knows the following:

1. That a global conspiracy or mafia involves a large group or organization of
people throughout the whole world colluding with each other to commit a crime.
Individuals engaging in criminal or unethical behavior on their own do not
constitute a global conspiracy.

2. Evidence represents the truth. One cannot accuse anybody of engaging in
unethical behavior without providing truthful evidence. It is irresponsible for
anybody to claim that there is a global mafia involving scientists without
producing evidence.

3. It is unethical to provide false information of any kind in a public forum,
let alone false medical information from unreliable conspiratorial websites.

4. The only ethical and proper thing to do in respect of providing medical
information is to refer to a responsible and reliable medical source such as
the public health resource website of a recognized medical institution or
organization, and/or to clearly state the information that they have made
available.

Cheers,

Santosh

A QUESTION : If one admits that there exist “unethical professionals”
and also “corruption in all walks of life”; on what basis can one confidently
assure that there are no conspiratorial nexus
between global marketing mafias, drug companies and scientists? It is not
common sense for an ethical professional to advise caution? Or is it deliberate
that the word “EVIDENCE” is inserted just like how our politicians assert they
are non-corrupt? Where in the MEDICAL ETHICS does it say that a medical
practitioner can advise guarantee to the outcome of any drug, treatment,
surgery, or safety of any marketed product? OR does it state exactly the
opposite that a doctor should not assure any guarantee? It is also not true
that all properly trained physicians and medical scientists can figure out what
is bogus and what is genuine. Any person from any walk of life or profession;
who has ‘common sense’ and wisdom, will exercise CAUTION!
