I am not sure if Mr. Mazumdar is as informed as he should be to be writing the above article. Or, it is possible that somebody sold him a brew made out of cashew nuts. From the little I know, Caju (Cashew) Feni is made from the Cashew fruit - not the nut. I am not particularly fond of Caju Feni because what is routinely available these days - as feni, isn't the real stuff. For good quality feni, one must approach the good producers of feni from Siolim, Carambolim and Betul.
